Mauritz Lennart Rosensohn , born July 25, 1918 in Malmö, Denmark, died in 1994, was a Swedish painter, printer and graphic artist . He was the son of merchant Viktor Rosensohn and Anna Jacobsohn and from 1955 married to actor Asta Nyström . Rosensohn studied at the Technical School in Malmö in 1938 and at Skånska School of Painting 1939-1940, Anders Beckman's Advertising School 1941-1942, and at Otte Sköld School of Painting 1946-1947 and during studies to, among others, Morocco, Spain and Paris. He participated in many joint exhibitions. He participated in the group exhibitions Plates and emphasis on theater at Helsingborg's city theater, Galerie Aesthetica , Aktuell Skånekonst in Umeå, Good art in all homes at Galleri Brinken in Stockholm as well as with the Öresund group and as a member of the artist group Differents in the group's exhibitions. He was awarded the Helsingborg Art Association 's 1956 scholarship and a scholarship from Skåne's art association . Among his public works is a wall decoration in the Mosaic Assembly, Malmö. His art consists of figurative compositions and landscape in powerful colors. Rosensohn is represented at the Modern Museum in Stockholm as well as in the Helsingborg Museum and Malmö Museum.
